Electrical MEP AI Sales Engineer
We're partnering with a fast-growing technology company building software designed to transform how engineers work.
They're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who understands the realities of MEP design and wants to move into a more technology-focused, customer-facing role. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves engineering but is excited by software, AI, automation, and the future of AEC.
What you'll do
- Become a technical expert on the company's platform and help engineering teams get maximum value from it.
- Join discovery calls and technical conversations with prospective customers, helping understand complex engineering workflows and requirements.
- Lead onboarding, demonstrations, and technical training for engineering teams.
- Work directly with electrical engineers and technical leaders to integrate the platform into their existing design workflows.
- Act as the bridge between customers and the product/engineering team.
- Translate real-world engineering feedback into product improvements and help influence the product roadmap.
- Support customers through implementation, adoption, and longer-term use.
- Partner with commercial and marketing teams as the technical expert throughout the customer journey.
Who you are
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally within a leading MEP, consulting engineering, or AEC firm.
- Strong understanding of the electrical design process from concept through permitting and construction documentation.
- Advanced experience using Revit for large or complex electrical systems.
- Excited by the intersection of electrical engineering, software, AI, and automation.
- Comfortable explaining complicated technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Someone who enjoys working directly with clients and engineers rather than sitting purely within a traditional design role.
- Highly accountable and comfortable taking ownership of projects and customer relationships.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth technology environment.
- Direct, collaborative, curious, and motivated by building something new.
