Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth and Market Development
- Lead the Iowa office launch and align growth strategy with firm-wide objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and public/private stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction across all engagements.
Technical and Project Leadership
- Oversee structural design and project delivery across multiple building types.
- Guide project teams to ensure technical excellence, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate on scoping, pricing, and execution of high-quality projects.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Partner with technical leaders to align business development with delivery capabilities.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering across diverse building types.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Expertise in structural design using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Project management experience preferred
