About the Opportunity
Our client is one of the fastest-growing mechanical contractors in Texas, specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process mechanical systems across mission-critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, commercial, and high-tech projects.
With a strong project backlog and continued expansion across Central Texas, they are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to help lead field operations and drive successful project delivery. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys building teams, mentoring field personnel, and delivering complex mechanical installations on some of the region's most exciting construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead all field operations for mechanical scopes including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and equipment installation.
- Supervise and coordinate foremen, field crews, subcontractors, and trade partners.
- Drive project schedules, manpower planning, productivity, and quality control.
- Partner with Project Managers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
- Coordinate work sequencing with other trades and participate in daily and weekly project meetings.
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety and accountability across the jobsite.
- Train, mentor, and develop field personnel to support the company's continued growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of mechanical construction experience with leadership responsibilities in the field.
- Proven experience managing HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical installation projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination.
- Experience leading crews on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or data center projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
