Salary: $85,000 - $130,000
This role is with a privately held specialty chemical and water treatment solutions provider serving industrial and municipal customers across the Midwest. The Regional Manager will be responsible for growing existing accounts, developing new business, and providing hands-on technical support to customers in wastewater and industrial treatment applications. The position combines sales, account management, and field service responsibilities, requiring someone who can build strong customer relationships while troubleshooting treatment programs and equipment in the field. Customers span a variety of industries including food & beverage manufacturing, industrial processing, energy, recycling, and municipal wastewater facilities. This is a highly visible role offering autonomy, direct customer interaction, and the opportunity to drive business growth within an established territory throughout Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth plans focused on expanding chemical treatment programs and related service offerings.
- Manage existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate treatment systems, review operational data, troubleshoot process issues, and provide technical recommendations.
- Deliver customer training, support equipment performance, and ensure treatment programs achieve desired operational results.
- Build relationships with operators, maintenance personnel, plant managers, and executive decision-makers to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment, process chemicals, or a related technical sales environment.
- Working knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operations and treatment processes across industrial and municipal applications.
- Experience selling specialty chemicals, water treatment programs, process solutions, or industrial service contracts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively at both plant and executive levels.
- Residence within Nebraska and willingness to travel throughout the territory approximately 25-50%.
