Professional Land Surveyor
- Lead field teams and collaborate with project surveyors to execute large-scale surveying assignments
- Determine and certify property boundaries, easements, right‑of‑way, site layouts/staking, and topographic features
- Sign and seal survey plats, legal descriptions, and deliverables as a firm representative
- Ensure quality assurance and control for survey data and final deliverables
- Coordinate directly with clients, engineers, and project managers to align outputs with project objectives
- Mentor technicians and junior crew members in state requirements, field best practices, and QA/QC processes
- Maintain and operate field survey instruments-GPS, total stations, levels, scanners, LiDAR, etc.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license for New Hampshire
- Experience: 5+ years of land surveying experience, including project oversight and field crew leadership
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, surveying controllers, GIS tools, Trimble or Leica equipment
- Geospatial Expertise: Knowledge of boundary law, topographic survey, ALTA/NSPS standards, easements, right‑of‑way, and site staking
- Field Readiness: Able to work in varied outdoor conditions and travel as needed
