Project Documentation Manager
Location: Boston, MA or Houston, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in office)

The Project Documentation Manager will lead the administration, control, and governance of project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle, from development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
This individual will play a key role in maintaining document integrity, ensuring compliance, managing revision control, and facilitating efficient information flow among internal teams, engineering partners, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders in a complex EPC project environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a centralized document management system for project records, including technical, commercial, quality, and administrative documentation.
  • Establish document control procedures, numbering conventions, workflows, and filing structures to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance.
  • Manage document review, approval, distribution, and revision processes for engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, reports, and as-built records.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor document submissions and ensure adherence to project and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate project closeout documentation and prepare comprehensive handover packages at commercial operation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of document control or document management experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, EPC, or energy projects.
  • Strong experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS), including platforms such as SharePoint, Aconex, Procore, or similar tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and document control skills with exceptional attention to detail.
