A leading project and construction management consultancy is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects across the United States.
This role is responsible for ensuring all construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle. You'll play a key role in driving quality processes, inspections, testing, turnover, and overall project execution on some of the most complex mission critical projects in the market.
Responsibilities
- Lead all site QA/QC activities across active data center construction projects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality control plans and procedures.
- Manage inspections, audits, punch lists, and quality assurance initiatives throughout construction.
- Review and track ITPs, NCRs, RFIs, submittals, and turnover documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor installation quality of critical mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identify quality issues, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Support testing, startup, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
- Prepare and maintain project quality reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of QA/QC, Quality Management, or Construction Management experience.
- Previous experience delivering data center or mission critical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Experience managing inspections, quality audits, turnover packages, and project documentation.
- Familiarity with ITPs, NCRs, quality management systems, and construction quality processes.
- Ability to work effectively with field teams, contractors, and client representatives.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
