Senior Engineer / Project Manager - Water & Wastewater
We are seeking a Senior Engineer or Project Manager to lead a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects, with a focus on expanding services in the Utah market. This role involves both technical leadership and client engagement, supporting business development and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater systems and facilities.
- Manage projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drafters, engineers-in-training, GIS technicians, and technical editors.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
- Engage with clients and public agencies to support project success.
- Assist in business development through professional networking, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
Technical Expertise Required:
- Water system conveyance and storage design
- Sanitary conveyance (gravity and pumped systems)
- Hydraulic modeling and analysis
- Feasibility studies and master planning
- Engineering and construction documentation
- Regulatory coordination and permitting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah
- 10+ years of experience in municipal utilities and water/wastewater design
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal design standards
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (GIS experience is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater and general civil design
- Experience working with Utah water conservation districts, public works departments, and regulatory agencies

Compensation:
Salary range: $140,000-$200,000
