A well-established, employee-owned engineering and design consultancy is seeking a Vice President to lead its Urban Development team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee major urban development and civil engineering projects as Principal-in-Charge and Senior Project Manager.
* Drive business development efforts by identifying opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and securing new work.
* Develop proposals, negotiate scopes and fees, and support contract management, invoicing, and collections.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical oversight to engineering teams.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and quality control processes.
* Direct the preparation and review of engineering designs, construction plans, and technical reports.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
* Support strategic planning and market growth initiatives within the urban development sector.
* Lead client meetings, project kick-offs, and high-level design discussions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
* 15+ years of civil engineering experience, including at least 8 years in project management and leadership roles.
* Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
* Experience delivering complex civil engineering and land development projects.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.
