A leading heavy civil contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of water treatment, wastewater treatment, and utility infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to grow their career on complex municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with project execution from preconstruction through completion
- Support budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Coordinate with Superintendents, field crews, and project stakeholders
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering, assistant project management, or construction management
- Experience with water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations, or utility infrastructure projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred
