A leading, employee-owned engineering firm is expanding its team in Louisville, KY, and is looking for an experienced Wastewater Engineer with a strong background in pump station and collection system design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team working on high-impact infrastructure projects across the region.
As part of a collaborative and mission-driven environment, you'll play a key role in designing and managing wastewater systems that serve communities and support long-term sustainability goals. You'll also have the chance to work alongside experts in civil, water resources, and environmental engineering, contributing to both local and regional projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of wastewater pump stations, force mains, and gravity sewer systems.
- Manage projects from concept through construction, including permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- 5-10+ years of experience in wastewater engineering, with a focus on pump station design.
- PE license in Kentucky.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic modeling, system layout, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, or similar design tools.
- Experience working with municipal clients and public utilities is a plus.
