We are seeking a high-performing Account Sales Executive with strong knowledge of the Ohio construction market to lead a strategic expansion initiative. This role offers the opportunity to be the first hire in the region, with a long-term vision to build a local team and establish a physical office presence.

About the Role

With Ohio experiencing significant growth in commercial and industrial development, this position is designed for a sales professional who understands the local landscape and is ready to drive business development from the ground up.

You will represent a well-established mechanical contractor with a strong reputation in union-based, design/build construction services. Your insights and leadership will directly influence the company's footprint in Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow market share across Ohio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and key stakeholders.
  • Promote a full suite of mechanical contracting services including HVAC, plumbing, and design/build solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the Ohio expansion roadmap.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform service offerings and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction or mechanical contracting.
  • Strong network and market knowledge in Ohio (Columbus, Cleveland, and surrounding areas).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within Ohio as needed.
