Electrical Assistant Project Manager - Mission Critical Construction

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Area (Travel Package Available)

An established electrical contractor with a substantial portfolio of mission critical and advanced technology projects is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's most experienced project leaders while gaining exposure to hyperscale data centers and other technically complex environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in project coordination, commercial support, scheduling, procurement, field operations, and overall project execution.

The Opportunity

This role is designed for an ambitious electrical construction professional looking to accelerate their career within one of the fastest-growing sectors in North America.

Working closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership, you will help drive project performance from preconstruction through turnover while gaining invaluable experience on high-profile, large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and execution of electrical construction projects from initiation through completion.
  • Assist with project scheduling, coordination, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Track project milestones, manage documentation, and assist with reporting requirements.
  • Support project managers in maintaining schedule, quality, safety, and financial objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel to project locations as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience within electrical construction project management, project engineering, field engineering, or a related construction management role.
  • Direct experience supporting electrical construction activities on large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of electrical infrastructure installations, including:
    • Low Voltage Systems (120V-600V)
    • Medium Voltage Distribution Systems
    • Conduit & Raceway Installations
    • Cable Tray Systems
    • Grounding & Bonding Systems
    • Underground Duct Banks & Cable Trenches
    • Medium Voltage Cable Terminations
  • Strong commercial awareness and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations across the region.

Preferred Experience

  • Mission Critical or Data Center construction projects.
  • Advanced Technology, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Semiconductor facilities.
  • Electrical trade background.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting projects within an electrical contracting environment.
