Austin - Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial HVAC projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

• Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead project teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal departments.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.

• Financial Oversight

  • Monitor project costs and manage budgets.
  • Approve invoices and manage change orders.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management.

• Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
  • Ensure all installations meet technical specifications and client expectations.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.

• Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with regular site visits.
• May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project timelines.
