What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and delivery of bridge and transportation structure projects
- Develop plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Perform structural analysis and design for new and existing bridges
- Coordinate with roadway, drainage, geotechnical, and utility teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
- Participate in client meetings and help strengthen existing relationships
- Contribute to project pursuits and business development initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 5+ years of bridge engineering experience
- Experience with NCDOT bridge design standards and procedures
- Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer, LEAP, STAAD, MIDAS, or similar structural design software
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel bridge design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Desire to grow into technical leadership or project management responsibilities
