About the Role
A nationally recognized building envelope consulting firm is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant to join their remote team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the U.S., including commercial, institutional, and high-performance buildings.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in façade systems, roofing, waterproofing, and enclosure detailing, and will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic investigations, condition assessments, and due diligence reviews
- Develop design recommendations and technical reports for building envelope systems
- Review construction documents and specifications for performance and compliance
- Provide consulting support during design and construction phases
- Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in building envelope consulting or design
- Strong understanding of curtain walls, roofing, waterproofing, and cladding systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and relevant industry software
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote work environment
