A well-established civil engineering consulting firm in the Phoenix area is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join their expanding Land Development team. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and master-planned community projects throughout Arizona while collaborating with a highly respected team of engineers, project managers, and industry professionals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and oversee site civil design plans for land development projects.
- Design grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and roadway improvements.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Assist with project management, scheduling, and client communication.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Support entitlement, permitting, and development review processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development design.
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with grading, drainage, utility, and site development projects.
- Knowledge of local agency standards and development processes is preferred.
- EIT required, PE preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
