Data Center Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join its growing Dallas team, supporting the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center developments across North America.

This is an opportunity to join a leading engineering consulting and project delivery firm specializing in mission-critical facilities. Working alongside some of the world's largest technology companies, cloud providers, and digital infrastructure clients, you'll help oversee the successful delivery of complex data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.

The Opportunity

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be embedded within hyperscale data center programs, providing project leadership and construction oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you'll collaborate with developers, design consultants, contractors, commissioning teams, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes from a consulting perspective while helping clients navigate the challenges of delivering some of the industry's most sophisticated mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hyperscale data center construction projects from early planning through project completion.
  • Provide construction management and project delivery support for mission-critical developments.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, reporting, and risk management activities.
  • Coordinate efforts between clients, design consultants, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential risks, delays, and cost impacts.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
  • Support project controls, change management, procurement, and contract administration activities.
  • Review project documentation and ensure alignment with client objectives and project requirements.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and construction performance throughout all phases of delivery.
  • Support commissioning, testing, startup, and closeout activities.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients while serving as a trusted project advisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other highly technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, project controls, and construction management principles.
  • Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience delivering hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
  • Experience within a consulting, engineering, project management, developer, or program management environment.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with critical electrical and mechanical systems supporting data center operations.
