Field Service Technician

Join a leading provider of high-purity water treatment solutions serving pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, laboratory, microelectronics, food & beverage, and industrial manufacturing facilities. This organization specializes in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of mission-critical water purification systems, helping customers maintain compliance and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pick up vessels at customer sites in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Exchange DI and media tanks at client facilities.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ultrapure water systems within healthcare, life sciences, and industrial environments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), and other water treatment systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Calibrate water quality instrumentation, meters, probes, and monitoring equipment.
  • Conduct system sanitizations and replace filters, UV lamps, and other consumable components.
  • Perform water testing and basic laboratory analysis to verify system performance.
  • Service and maintain reverse osmosis membrane systems.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation following completion of training.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or water treatment experience is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to complete accurate service reports and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs., climbing ladders, bending, squatting, and moving equipment.
  • Willingness to travel locally and work occasional nights and weekends as needed.
