In this role, you will lead and contribute to a wide range of geotechnical engineering projects, including foundation design, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, and site investigations. You will collaborate closely with civil engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and safe solutions for clients in sectors such as transportation, energy, water resources, and commercial development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute geotechnical investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
- Analyze soil and rock properties to develop recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, and earthwork.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction recommendations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success from concept through construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
