About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects across the Florida Panhandle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing heavy civil construction, with a particular focus on concrete and bridge work. This is a leadership role requiring hands-on field management, coordination with project teams, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations on heavy civil construction sites, including concrete and bridge projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with proven expertise in concrete and bridge work.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with DOT standards preferred.
