HVAC Controls Programmer (Niagara)
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Niagara Programmer to support complex Building Automation projects throughout Greater Boston.
This role will focus on Niagara programming, graphics development, integrations, and commissioning support for Building Automation Systems. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to deliver complete BAS solutions from initial database development through system turnover.
This is primarily an office-based position with occasional field travel to support project commissioning and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop Niagara N4 databases and control applications
- Create graphics, dashboards, and user interfaces
- Program sequences of operation for HVAC systems
- Configure and troubleshoot BACnet and third-party integrations
- Support startup, commissioning, and project delivery activities
- Diagnose and resolve programming and system performance issues
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Qualifications
- Strong Niagara programming experience
- Experience creating graphics and user interfaces within Niagara
- Building Automation or HVAC Controls background
- Knowledge of BAS architecture and HVAC systems
- Experience with BACnet and system integrations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
