About the Position
This is an opportunity for an experienced Medical Equipment Planning Project Manager to take ownership of equipment planning and coordination across multiple healthcare projects. The role blends technical delivery with project management responsibilities and requires someone who can confidently interface with clinical stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage medical equipment planning activities across multiple healthcare projects
- Develop and maintain equipment lists, budgets, and project schedules
- Coordinate with clinical users to validate equipment needs and workflows
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure proper integration
- Oversee procurement processes including vendor coordination, bid reviews, and logistics
- Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of equipment planning phases
- Lead client meetings and act as a key point of contact for equipment-related matters
- Support installation, activation, and project close-out activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical equipment planning within healthcare environments
- Background in project management or experience leading project scopes
- Strong understanding of hospital and outpatient facility operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Willingness to travel as needed across the Central US
