Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Bellevue, Washington
Salary: $90,000- $120,000 + Bonus(s)
A respected general contractor in the Bellevue area is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, permanent role offering strong career growth potential and the opportunity to work on impactful public and private sector projects.
Role Overview
The Project Engineer will assist in managing project documentation, schedules, budgets, and coordination between field and office teams. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow into a leadership role within the construction industry.
Experience Required
- 2-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction
- Exposure to infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, utilities, or site development
- Experience supporting field operations, subcontractor coordination, and cost tracking
- Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, HCSS, P6)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- EIT certification or pursuit of PE license is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
