A growing civil engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager to join its Land Development team. This role offers the opportunity to lead a variety of private development projects while working alongside a collaborative team of engineers, designers, and project professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage land development projects from entitlement through construction
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
* Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and staffing
* Prepare and oversee grading, drainage, utility, and site development designs
* Lead agency coordination and plan processing efforts
* Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance
* Support proposals, business development initiatives, and client relationship management
* Review project financial performance, invoicing, and change orders
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* PE license required
* 9+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development
* Previous project management experience overseeing multiple projects and staff preferred
* Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utility design, permitting, and entitlement processes
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage projects from initial planning through construction support
