Project Manager

A leading construction and infrastructure technology organization is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of structural repair and strengthening projects across the heavy civil and commercial infrastructure markets.

The position combines project management, estimating, commercial oversight, technical coordination, and client management, with a particular focus on post-tensioning, carbon fiber polymer (CFRP), and structural strengthening work.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage structural repair and strengthening projects from handoff through completion.
  • Manage projects to achieve budget, schedule, safety, quality, contractual, and customer requirements.
  • Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects and support monthly project reporting.
  • Prepare estimates for labor and materials to support project and business development opportunities.
  • Obtain and evaluate material, subcontractor, and service pricing.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, work plans, technical submittals, and other project documentation.
  • Read and manage construction contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Develop site-specific safety execution plans for assigned projects.
  • Work closely with clients, engineers, vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Help resolve field performance, collection, and customer satisfaction issues.
  • Maintain an understanding of the structural repair market and competitor landscape.
  • Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and exhibitions when required.
  • Travel to construction sites and client locations as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5+ years of Repair & Strengthening project management experience preferred.
  • Experience within civil construction, heavy construction, DOT, bridge construction, or similar construction environments is required.
  • Knowledge of post-tensioning systems, carbon fiber systems, and structural repair and strengthening, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and construction contracts.
  • Strong technical, commercial, estimating, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
  • Four-year college degree preferred, ideally within a technical or engineering discipline.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • OSHA or equivalent safety training preferred, or the ability to obtain it.
  • Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Crew Tracks, Navision, and Microsoft Office, or the ability to learn these systems quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Why This Role

This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with a heavy civil, bridge, DOT, or structural repair background who wants broader ownership of technically challenging projects.

Rather than being limited to traditional project administration, you'll have involvement across estimating, project delivery, commercial performance, technical coordination, safety, client relationships, and field execution. The project portfolio centers on specialist structural repair and strengthening work, including post-tensioning and CFRP applications, providing exposure to a highly specialized area of infrastructure construction.
