Project manager water/wastewater
An established employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing Water/Wastewater team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects while working alongside multidisciplinary teams and public sector clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through design and delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
- Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Support project staffing, resource allocation, and workload planning.
- Monitor project performance, financial metrics, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support business development efforts and help secure repeat work with existing clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering consulting, project management, or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Experience delivering water, wastewater, or other public infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
