A respected civil engineering firm based in Irvine is offering a rare opportunity for a motivated engineer to be mentored directly by the owner with the goal of gradually stepping into a leadership and ownership role.
The firm has built a strong backlog of public works projects, thanks to long-standing relationships with municipalities like the City of Brea, City of Anaheim, and City of Irvine. Currently active on 18 of 30+ on-call lists, they've just been awarded a major 3-year project from one of their oldest clients-making this the perfect time to join.
🔹 Responsibilities:
As a Senior Public Works Engineer, you'll support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including roadway improvements, utility upgrades, traffic studies, and site development. You'll collaborate with city staff, review plans and specifications, assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates, and contribute to project management efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and client-facing collaboration.
