About the Opportunity

We're hiring a Regional Sales Engineer to represent a market-leading ground improvement contractor supported by the strength and stability of a Fortune 500 organization. This is a true relationship-driven role focused on market development, technical sales, and long-term client partnerships across North and Central Florida into Southern Georgia.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives outside the office-meeting clients face-to-face, networking at industry events, entertaining clients over dinner or golf, collaborating with design teams, and ultimately winning work from cradle to grave.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a defined territory spanning Daytona → Gainesville → North Florida → Macon, GA
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Owners
    • Civil & geotechnical engineers
    • Contractors and developers
  • Actively market ground improvement solutions through:
    • Client meetings and site visits
    • Networking events, conferences, and industry associations
    • Client entertainment (dinners, golf, relationship-based selling)
  • Collaborate closely with internal design and engineering teams to develop technical solutions
  • Lead the pursuit of projects and win BIFs
  • Provide technical input and support proposals, pricing strategy, and presentations
  • Oversee projects from initial opportunity through award and execution
  • Stamp proposals/drawings as required (if licensed)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact from concept through completion

What We're Looking For

  • Engineering background (Civil, Geotechnical, or related)
  • Experience in:
    • Ground improvement, geotechnical contracting, deep foundations, or heavy civil construction
    • Technical sales, business development, or project engineering with client exposure
    • Licensed P.E in FL/GA
  • Strong relationship-builder with a handshake-first mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, field-based role
  • Willingness to travel within the territory for meetings, events, and site visits
  • PE license preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the backing of a large, well-capitalized organization
