Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead electrical and control system design for large-scale industrial projects. This role involves developing complete design packages, coordinating across disciplines, and providing technical oversight throughout all phases of execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation, with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of electrical and control system designs for major infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Oversee equipment selection and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Guide design teams on instrumentation, control strategies, and network architecture.
- Support system studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior engineers.
- Assist with procurement, testing, and commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical and control system design.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols and automation platforms.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Compensation
Salary range: $155K-$230K, plus bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
