Senior Geotechnical CMT Engineer
About the Opportunity
A well‑respected, long‑standing Texas engineering firm is expanding its Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) division and is seeking a Senior Geotechnical / CMT Engineer to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a PE‑licensed engineer who wants greater influence, visibility, ownership of projects, and a genuine opportunity to shape the direction of a high‑growth department.
This company-privately owned, stable, and known for treating its people incredibly well-has been experiencing sustained demand across commercial, industrial, municipal, and transportation sectors. They are looking for someone who wants more than just a job: they want someone who wants to build, drive, and lead.
Why This Role Is Different
Strong Reputation & Repeat Clients
The firm has been around for decades and is deeply embedded in the Texas AEC community. They win clients through quality, relationships, and practical engineering-not by underbidding.
Ability to Make an Impact
Because the company isn't a giant bureaucracy, you'll have genuine influence over geotechnical programs, CMT operations, exploration approaches, reporting standards, and client strategy.

This role is part of a long‑term succession plan. As they grow, they want this person positioned for a future Chief Engineer / Department Lead role.
