Senior Project Manager
We are working with a client who is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering professional to support transportation and commercial land development projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute across a wide range of project and client-facing responsibilities, including:
- Managing multiple commercial land development and transportation projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from concept through completion
- Leading and coordinating engineering design efforts, working closely with internal teams and external partners
- Maintaining project schedules and budgets, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with client expectations
- Mentoring and overseeing Engineers-in-Training (EITs), providing technical guidance and professional development support
- Collaborating with designers to develop practical, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions
- Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout project lifecycles
- Coordinating with external consultants, including surveyors, planners, and other engineering disciplines
- Preparing feasibility studies, technical reports, and cost estimates to support project planning and decision-making
- Contributing to business development efforts, including client engagement, proposal support, and identifying growth opportunities
The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), a current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state, and at least 10 years of relevant experience in transportation and land development. Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to stay focused and confident under tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with working knowledge of CAD software.
