With a strong presence throughout Florida and a significant backlog of municipal water projects, they are seeking an experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their Orlando office and play a key leadership role in the continued growth of their Florida Water practice.

The Opportunity

Working as part of the Orlando leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of multi-million-dollar municipal water and wastewater projects throughout Florida.

This position offers a blend of project delivery, client management, business development, and team leadership. You'll work directly with utility clients, municipal stakeholders, and senior technical professionals to develop and execute critical infrastructure projects that improve water quality, reliability, and sustainability for communities across the state.

Projects may include:

• Water treatment facilities
• Wastewater treatment facilities
• Pump stations
• Water transmission and distribution systems
• Wastewater collection systems
• Water reuse infrastructure
• Utility master planning and capital improvement programmes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through design and construction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key municipal and utility clients.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental, and technical disciplines.
• Oversee financial performance, project risk management, invoicing, and profitability.
• Support the development and execution of regional growth strategies within the Florida water market.
• Lead proposal development, client presentations, contract negotiations, and project pursuits.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to expand market presence and strengthen client relationships.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and technical staff while supporting succession planning and team development.
• Promote technical excellence, innovation, and successful project delivery across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence.
• Strong project management experience within the water and wastewater sector.
• Experience managing large municipal infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• 15+ years of water and wastewater consulting experience.
• Established relationships within the Florida municipal water market.
• Track record of winning and delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial management.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing project risk.
• Previous business development and client management experience.
