Senior Restoration Architect
A well-established architecture and engineering firm in New York City is seeking a Senior Restoration Architect to lead a growing team focused on building envelope restoration and historic preservation.
This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across all five boroughs - from landmarked buildings and luxury towers to affordable housing and iconic NYC architecture. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major restoration projects including façades, roofs, plazas, and garages
- Oversee Local Law 11/FISP inspections and reporting
- Manage building envelope design and historic preservation efforts
- Mentor and train junior staff
- Coordinate with DOB, building owners, and stakeholders
- Prepare architectural plans, details, and specifications
- Support contractor walkthroughs, bid reviews, and construction administration
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 5 years in Local Law 11/FISP
- Registered Architect (RA) with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- Strong command of AutoCAD and Excel
- NYC project experience and deep understanding of restoration practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Salary Range: $110k-$180K, depending on experience
