What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyze and evaluate existing and proposed telecommunications structures (including towers, rooftops, water tanks, and elevated platforms), assess structural capacity, and ensure code compliance
  • Prepare engineering calculations, structural assessment reports, and recommendations for repairs, reinforcements, and modifications
  • Review field inspection reports, support the design of structural and foundation solutions, and collaborate with engineering, CADD, and administrative teams to deliver high‑quality project documentation
  • Respond to technical inquiries, conduct quality control reviews, and mentor junior engineers while maintaining OSHA and safety compliance

What They're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
  • 4+ years experience working with telecommunications or steel structures
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred, with the ability to obtain additional licenses through reciprocity
  • Strong knowledge of telecom and structural design codes and experience with RISA 3D and tnxTower
  • Familiarity with common engineering tools such as AutoCAD, EnerCalc, Hilti Profis, Bluebeam/Adobe, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for field evaluations
