Salary: $130,000 - $180,000

About the Company

Our client is a leading specialty geotechnical contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex foundation and ground engineering solutions across the United States.

Their expertise spans deep foundations, earth retention systems, ground improvement, dewatering and design-build delivery on some of the most technically challenging infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects in the country.

Due to continued project growth throughout Florida, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to provide field leadership and ensure the successful execution of complex geotechnical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through project completion.
• Manage field crews, foremen, subcontractors and equipment resources to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Oversee deep foundation, ground improvement, earth retention and related specialty construction activities.
• Develop and maintain short-term work plans, look-ahead schedules and site logistics plans.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and production objectives.
• Conduct site safety meetings, inspections and audits, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients and inspectors to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.
• Monitor productivity, labour utilisation, equipment performance and project milestones.
• Complete daily reporting, documentation and progress tracking.
• Mentor and develop field staff, foremen and future site leaders.

Requirements

• 15+ years of construction experience with at least 8-10 years in a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role.
• Extensive experience delivering complex geotechnical construction, deep foundation, ground improvement and earth retention projects.
• Proven track record managing projects involving drilled shafts, micropiles, CFA piles, secant walls, soldier pile and lagging systems, tiebacks, ground anchors and other specialty foundation systems.
• Demonstrated success leading large crews and managing multiple operations simultaneously on active construction sites.
• Strong understanding of production drilling operations, heavy equipment utilisation and specialty foundation construction methods.
• Experience delivering projects with significant technical, logistical and safety challenges.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers and inspectors while maintaining schedule and quality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, labour forecasting, productivity tracking and field cost management.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Willingness to travel as required throughout Florida and the Southeast.
