Company Overview
A leading provider of energy solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage key relationships across Southeast Asia. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong partnerships with channel partners and water utilities, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. The Business Development Manager will oversee all aspects of partner engagement, including sales performance, marketing initiatives, order processing, and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue across multiple sales channels. Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with distributors and resellers to ensure consistent growth and market expansion.
  • Territory Management & Market Intelligence
  • Travel extensively within the assigned region to engage with clients and partners. Collect and report on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Business Development & Pipeline Management
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and projects. Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking and timely reporting of sales activities. Analyze sales data to uncover trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Marketing Support & Event Participation
  • Represent the company at marketing events such as seminars, roadshows, and exhibitions. Engage with prospects and customers to promote the company's solutions. Offer feedback to the marketing team to enhance event effectiveness.
  • Solution Selling & Value Communication
  • Articulate the unique value and benefits of the company's products and services. Apply advanced sales techniques to differentiate offerings from competitors. Customize presentations to address specific customer challenges and deliver compelling value propositions.


Key Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record in sales.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in water technology sales within Southeast Asia.
  • Strong background in sales and account management in a channel-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated customer-first approach and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing regional accounts and channel partners across international markets.
