Dallas Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of HVAC projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, project management, and client relations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Execution & Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations of HVAC installations and retrofits.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status.
- Resolve issues and conflicts promptly and professionally.
Financial Management
- Track project costs and manage budgets effectively.
- Approve invoices and manage procurement processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate project teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration across all parties.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC project management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical codes, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Office and field-based work.
- Occasional travel to project sites.
- May require evening or weekend work depending on project demands.
