Overview:
We are working with a growing firm who are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Project Manager to join their team in Dallas. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience, particularly in commercial, residential, and heavy industrial projects. The successful candidate will lead geotechnical investigations, manage project teams, and serve as a technical expert and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through completion.
- Plan and oversee field investigations, laboratory testing, and engineering analyses.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, recommendations, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and field staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Support business development efforts through client relationship management and proposal preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Proven experience with commercial, residential, and heavy industrial projects.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., gINT, LPILE, SLOPE/W, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
