Role Overview
We are seeking a Carbon Modeller / Senior Carbon Modeller (Commercial Advisory) to join their Sydney/Melbourne office. This role will focus on carbon credit and ACCU modelling, supply-demand forecasting, and carbon pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making in sustainability and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain carbon credit and ACCU modelling frameworks
- Conduct supply and demand forecasting for carbon markets
- Analyze carbon pricing trends and provide actionable insights
- Utilize modelling software to simulate market scenarios and project outcomes
- Collaborate with commercial and advisory teams to integrate carbon strategies into project lifecycles
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- 1-5 years of experience in carbon markets, environmental finance, or modelling roles
- Proficiency in modelling software (e.g., Python, R, or specialized carbon modelling tools)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and pricing models
- Knowledge of carbon credit mechanisms, ACCU schemes, and sustainability frameworks
