Role Overview

We are seeking a Carbon Modeller / Senior Carbon Modeller (Commercial Advisory) to join their Sydney/Melbourne office. This role will focus on carbon credit and ACCU modelling, supply-demand forecasting, and carbon pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making in sustainability and renewable energy projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain carbon credit and ACCU modelling frameworks
  • Conduct supply and demand forecasting for carbon markets
  • Analyze carbon pricing trends and provide actionable insights
  • Utilize modelling software to simulate market scenarios and project outcomes
  • Collaborate with commercial and advisory teams to integrate carbon strategies into project lifecycles

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in carbon markets, environmental finance, or modelling roles
  • Proficiency in modelling software (e.g., Python, R, or specialized carbon modelling tools)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and pricing models
  • Knowledge of carbon credit mechanisms, ACCU schemes, and sustainability frameworks
