Lead Commissioning Engineer
Substation / Transmission Commissioning Engineer (New England)
We're working with a leading engineering team supporting major transmission & substation projects across the Northeast - and they're looking to add an experienced Commissioning Engineer to the group.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing and developing testing + commissioning plans
- Supporting upgrades and modifications across:
- Transmission lines
- Substations
- SCADA, controls, and relay protection systems
- Preparing job sequences, test procedures, and cutover plans
- Reviewing engineering changes, one-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Acting as a client representative to ensure testing standards are met
- Supporting field work and site-based commissioning
What they're looking for:
- 10+ years of substation / transmission commissioning experience
- Strong experience across 69kV-345kV systems
- Ability to review and approve testing procedures + project documentation
- Comfortable with travel across the New England region
Nice to have:
- Electrical Engineering degree (or similar)
- Background across protection systems, SCADA, or controls
