The Role
We're looking for a Metasys Programmer who's not just technically skilled, but also passionate about sharing knowledge and solving real-world problems. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines programming, fieldwork, training, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- 🖥️ Program and commission Metasys Building Automation Systems (BAS) on-site.
- 🚗 Travel to client sites across the UK for installations, diagnostics, and service calls.
- 🎓 Train and mentor clients and junior technicians on Metasys usage and best practices.
- 🛠️ Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- 📄 Document programming logic, system configurations, and service reports.
- 🤝 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver top-tier solutions.
What We're Looking For
- ✅ Proven experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (programming & commissioning).
- ✅ Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and integration protocols (BACnet, LON, etc.).
- ✅ Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- ✅ Willingness to travel and work independently in the field.
- ✅ A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
