Senior Electrical Engineer-Hyperscale Data Center

A well-established engineering firm with over 40 years of industry leadership is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join its Mission Critical team. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced and high-performance facilities in the world, including hyperscale data centers and other mission critical environments.
What You'll Do:
Lead Electrical Design Projects (40%)
- Drive the design of complex electrical distribution systems from concept through construction documents.
- Oversee equipment selection, layout, and sizing.
- Guide project engineers and ensure quality construction drawings and specifications.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop visual documentation.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and sequences of operations.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while identifying and mitigating risks.
Support Construction Activities (20%)
- Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
- Lead the engineering team through construction documentation and coordination.
- Review submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and change orders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure project alignment with organizational standards.
- Support business development and client relationship management.
- Contribute to technical publications and industry knowledge sharing.
Organizational Development (20%)
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal training programs.
- Assist in strategic planning, hiring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- PE license in a relevant discipline.
- 13+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in mission critical or high-tech environments.
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, codes (NEC, Life Safety, Energy Conservation), and design software.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
