Senior Water Resources Engineer

📍 St. Louis, MO | Hybrid Schedule (3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)

💰 $100,000 - $130,000+ DOE | Paid Overtime | Annual Bonus

Are you a Water Resources Engineer who enjoys solving complex drainage and stormwater challenges but feels buried within a large corporate structure?

My client is a highly respected civil engineering consulting firm with nearly 30 years of success and a reputation for delivering transportation, municipal, drainage, and water resources projects across the Midwest and Southeast. With approximately 70 employees across multiple offices, they've built a culture that combines the stability of an established consultancy with the accessibility and flexibility of a much smaller firm.

Unlike many larger organizations, you'll have direct access to senior leadership and company ownership, opportunities to influence projects from start to finish, and the ability to grow your career based on your contributions rather than simply waiting for the next title change.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

✅ Direct exposure to company ownership and leadership

✅ Flat organizational structure with no layers of bureaucracy

✅ Paid overtime - a rare offering in consulting engineering

✅ Strong year-end bonus program tied to company performance

✅ Tight-knit team environment where your work is highly visible

✅ Hybrid flexibility with a healthy work-life balance

✅ Long-term career growth and increased project ownership

✅ Opportunity to work closely with transportation, bridge, structures, and municipal teams

✅ Stable backlog of public-sector work with repeat clients

✅ Collaborative culture where teams actively support one another

Who Would Thrive Here?

This opportunity is ideal for a PE licensed Water Resources Engineer who enjoys technical work, wants greater visibility within an organization, and prefers a collaborative, employee-focused environment over a large corporate hierarchy.
