We are looking for a Traveling Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects involving security infrastructure, border operations, and facility upgrades. This role requires managing multiple stakeholders, maintaining compliance with federal requirements, and coordinating projects across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and execution
- Administer federal contracts and ensure compliance with applicable requirements and standards
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders across active project sites
- Oversee procurement, cost tracking, and project reporting
- Support planning and execution of specialized infrastructure and security-related scopes
- Identify and manage risks associated with remote or high-security project environments
- Maintain consistent communication with internal leadership and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Project Experience May Include
- Border infrastructure programs and Land Port of Entry modernization
- Security system installations, including screening, monitoring, and access control
- Renovations and upgrades at military installations and federal facilities
- Facility hardening, blast mitigation, and infrastructure improvement projects
- Multi-site project execution across the U.S. and U.S. territories
Qualifications
- Experience managing federal construction projects
- Working knowledge of contract administration and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and moving parts
- Experience with agencies such as USACE, DoD, DHS, or similar is preferred
- Willingness to travel and stay engaged with projects in the field
