Vice President, Power Delivery
A nationally recognized engineering firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead a high-performing team in the utility infrastructure space. This leadership role blends technical expertise, operational oversight, and strategic business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, designers, and technicians
- Oversee employee engagement, performance reviews, hiring, and career development
- Manage project execution, budgets, schedules, and quality control
- Maintain and grow client relationships while driving new business opportunities
- Provide technical reviews, develop budget estimates, and prepare proposals
- Prepare bid specifications for equipment, labor, and relay systems
- Support strategic business initiatives and cross-functional solution delivery
- Ensure collaboration across offices and disciplines to resolve design conflicts
- Conduct quality control reviews and provide PE seal for construction packages
- Forecast resource needs and manage backlog planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Strong business development and client engagement skills
- Skilled in MS Office and project management software
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Construction support experience
