Air Quality Project Manager
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to lead compliance, permitting, and technical projects related to air quality regulations. This role will manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local air quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage air quality projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
- Prepare and review air permit applications, emissions inventories, and regulatory reports.
- Interpret and apply air quality regulations from agencies such as SCAQMD, CARB, and EPA.
- Conduct compliance audits and develop strategies to address regulatory requirements.
- Serve as primary client contact, providing technical guidance and maintaining strong relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise clients on potential impacts.
- Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in air quality compliance, permitting, or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and California air quality regulations, including Title V and NSR/PSD permitting.
- Excellent project management skills with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
