A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning efforts for its mission-critical data center projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-performance environments, takes full ownership of outcomes, and is passionate about delivering reliable infrastructure to support advanced computing workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full commissioning lifecycle for new data center builds, including strategy development, design review, FAT/SAT participation, and site execution.
- Oversee the handover of facilities to IT infrastructure teams or end customers.
- Develop and maintain commissioning standards, procedures, and test scripts.
- Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate safety, QA/QC, and commissioning progress.
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
- Provide regular reporting on commissioning progress, safety, schedule, and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in data center commissioning or MEP project execution.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems for critical infrastructure.
- Experience developing commissioning plans and test documentation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
