A well‑established butique geotechnical engineering firm in Tampa is seeking a Geotechnical Professional Engineer (P.E.) to take ownership of signing and sealing responsibilities across a diverse portfolio of residential, municipal, county, and local government projects.

This role offers direct collaboration with the President, minimal bureaucracy, and the chance to wear multiple hats across technical, operational, and project‑execution functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Sign and seal geotechnical reports for residential, city, county, and local projects
  • Lead soil investigations, evaluate subsurface conditions, and provide foundation recommendations
  • Assess whether site soils can adequately support proposed structural foundations
  • Work directly with the President to influence technical direction and operational decisions
  • Contribute across all stages of project execution: field exploration, lab review, engineering analysis, and final reporting
  • Take on expanded roles over time, including mentorship, QA/QC, project oversight, and client interaction
